Selamat Hari Merdeka

MERDEKA!! MERDEKA!! MERDEKA!!
Wow!! Long holiday but still not enough rest...

Last Thursday after work, hubby and I went to KLCC to watch Rush Hour 3. Not many people but 9.20a.m. show was full, we ended up in the 3rd row, anywhere is free tickets, what to complaint?! The movie was ok. After the show, I didn't stay to watch the firework display cause it was too crowded. However, I caught our PM on TV.

On Friday we sent hubby's car (birdie aka kenari) to some sort of 2nd hand car dealer for sale. We didn't trade-in, we left it there and they will look for potential buyer. They will settle all the hassle process for us and as a return we pay them RM800-RM1000. So far, we have yet to get any call. Hopefully, we will get some responses soon. At night, our family (my parents, younger brother & my parents-in-law) have dinner somewhere in Cheras. One word: DELICIOUS!!

On Saturday, mother-in-law force hubby to go to the clinic where she works as a nurse for a Hepetitis B booster. From there, we walked to Pudu LRT station and headed towards Sogo. It was long ago since we last visited Sogo, lots of changes. Then, we took the same LRT to Hang Tuah. We walked to Sungai Wang, is quite far though, to get our working pants which we tailor made in The Page Shop a week ago. We shopped around the Bukit Bintang area, both of us were exhausted, we didn't get anything, too many people, no mood to buy anything, only window shopping. Since we were very tired, we deicided to take public transport** to the clinic (need to give moyher-in-law a lift home). After dinner, we met up Ooi Yin, Soon Wan and another friend (hubby's form 6 mate) in Cheras Steven's Corner. We have a few drinks and of course lots of good chat.

**As all of us know, from Times Square to Pudu is very very near, only 2 bus station away. However, all the taxi driver that we approached ask for RM5, why nobody use meter?! Is this what we achieved after 50 years kemerdekaan? I fully agree with the statement:1st class facilities, 3rd class mentality.

We woke up rather late on Sunday, we went to Pandan Capital to repair hubby's tennis racquet, then parents-in-law's house for "branch". Later, we went Mines as hubby is looking for some shirt to bring to Singapore, but we only manage to get a pair of shorts. Then, we try again in Balakong Jusco. Hubby got another pair of shorts and I got myself a very cheap shirt. At night, both of us busy packing hubby's lugage.

Now, I'm back in the office. Guess what?! Iwas so tired this morning, I fell asleep while I was driving. Surprisingly, noone "honk" me!!
