IDIOMS

Once upon a time, there lived in a far away land, three little pig named K, Y and C. Everyone in the land likes to pull their legs (to joke about something, exaggerate), saying that they are three little stupid pigs. To K, Y and C, that was a slap in their faces (an insult). But nevertheless they never lose their head (to lose control) or let things get out of hand (out of control).

One day, three pigs decided to go for a walk but alas they couldn't see eye to eye (to agree completely) to decide where they should go...

K, being the eldest and smartest of the three, said firmly "I am going to put my foot down (to take a firm stand)! Two of you should just hold your tongues (to keep quiet) and listen to me! I got a great suggestion!"

Y and C were taken aback and were all ears (willing to listen carefully), waiting for K to state his great plan. "Alright, alright!" they replied in unison.

So, K yelled, "We should go to the food bazaar. I heard they have all sorts of sausages that melt in one's mouth (to taste very good)."

The word "sausages" was enough to make Y and C's mouth water (delicious food) ! We hope you are not pulling the wool over our eyes (to deceive, trick someone)!! Sausages for free?! Yippie!!

Good News?? Bad News??

I'm so so so so so so so so........ HAPPY!!
Finally, after all the worries & torturing waiting,
I got a job in Singapore
:)
YIPPIE!!

I have decided to resign months ago, however it took me some time to decide my next stop as in should I take up the attractive offer from another college or try my luck in Singapore. After a few weeks of struggling, I decided to follow my heart....
First, I turn down the good offer from this well known college. Then, start to look for job through internet.

Trust me, it is hard. Lots of uncertainty & worries throughout the process, you need to be really strong & tough. Looking for a job in oversea is not easy (is not really hard though), you need to compete with their locals & also foreigners. I'm really thankful that my family & friends are there to support & encourage me.

My last day will be on 10 December 2007, I'll surely miss my students. I told them the news this morning, as expected the news spread pretty fast. I feel so bad for leaving them in the middle of the semester. Thus, I make sure everything is well organize before I hand over my post.

I'm so so so so so so so so........ HAPPY!!
I won the LiteFM poem competition:)
YIPPIE!!

I won 2 invites to the Gala Dinner worth RM1000 on 26 November 2007 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. I'm one of the 5 best entries!! Dionne Warwick, known for her popular hit song, "That's what friends are for" will be there to entertain us!

The crew, Claire called me this afternoon & asked whether I know that I won the competition as they announced it on air on Tuesday night. Of course, I screamed!!

Thank you darling for writing me such a good poem, however, he won't be able to join me. Since I dedicated this poem to LeeSa, so I'll bring her along. At first, I thought she won't like oldies, but she was so excited & happy when I told her the news this evening.

I HATE EXAM

Hooray!! Finally, exam over and Deepavali on the way...

Yesterday was the first time in my life where I didn't prepare for my final exam and yet I'm still cool with it. I went in the exam hall with limited "useful stuffs" in my brain.
I finish everything in one hour, after few times of checking and abit of bullshitting here & there, I left the hall 45min earlier.

Hopefully I can pass

Friend

In the moments of confusion, you make me understand.
In times of trouble, you are my helping hand.
You certainly deserved a perfect ten.
Will we still be friend till the very end?

**is this good enough to win a poem writing competition??
