Happy Sunday

Last Sunday was my cousin brother's wedding dinner. They actually got married before chinese new year in China. This wedding dinner was just a simple family get together & a formal announcement to all our relatives & friends.

Early morning, I drove mum to Shah Alam, her eldest brother's house for the tea ceromony. Everything was so unplanned and disorganised, all because this was the first time my mum's side has such a happy occasion. On the other hand, my uncle & aunt wanted it to be simple/modern style.

In the evening, all of us got ready for the dinner in Klang. There were plenty of time left, so we just played with our camera phone.

Super Packed Saturday

Last Friday, I took 2pm bus to go back Malaysia. I nearly miss the bus as there isn't any bus to Harbour Front from school & the cab I called didn't show up. Luckily, I manage to flag a cab outside the school.

I reached Kuala Lumpur about 7+pm. As usual, super jam. So, I took LRT & then cab, while my parents & brother were waiting for me in teashop. We then went to the nearby restaurant to have my favourite sweet & sour crab. YUMMY!!

Saturday early morning, after sending my parents to the tea shop, I went SS14 to meet up with Veron (my beautician) to have breakfast in Paramount. The environment is very cosy and the food is not bad too!!
Three Colour Tea -- pandan syrup, milk & tea
Curry Chicken Ipoh Zhu Cheong Fun
Then, we went back to Veron's work place & I have double masks.
At about 2pm, I rushed back home to get mum as she want me to accompany her to the saloon. We were late for the appointment as it was super jam when I drove back from PJ. I worried that there will be a lot of people doing their last minutes shopping at Lebuh Ampang (something like Little India), we took LRT to Terry's saloon. Like usual, we spent hours there.

After that, I rushed home to meet Ooi Yin (my university best mate) as we will be meeting Yoke Ting (another university best mate) at Kepong for dinner & also to meet Ting's baby girl.

Three of us enjoy the hot food so much and we definitely had a good chat as well. We then drove to Ting's house where her baby is waiting for us since Friday. She fell asleep in my arms. Isn't Miss Huan lovely?!
She posed for the camera
She is quite 'long' hor?!
Hubby siad she is her half-daughter as they share the same surname (in Chinese)
Another lovely girl, Ting's 4 years old nephew

After baby fell asleep, Ooi Yin wanted to try the famous ice desert around there. Although we were still full, but we really enjoy the ice. Three of had a great night, we haven't been having so much fun after graduation.

Last day of Lesson

I attended my last period in year 2008 with my mentor group...
I ended the lesson by giving my handphone number so that they can contact during 'emergency'. After nearly 1 year of 'probation', I believe that & I trust that my mentees are mature enough to handle my number appropriate. Hope my judgement is correct.

Today I'm feeling relief as I have completed all my work on time. On the other hand, I'm also a bit emotional because the year 6 students, our pioneer badge of graduates said goodbye to all of us during the farewell assembly. Although I didn't teach them and have very little contact with them, I had mixed feeling during the assembly. How will I react when my current badge of year 3 graduate in another 3 years??

Of course, not forgetting, I'm worry that my students have insufficient time to prepare for the examination which will start this Friday. I pity my Indian students who can't really enjoy Deepavali as they have papers before and after the celebration.

Anywhere, all these are part of student's life. I went through this before, I can't still remember the ups and downs...

All the Best

So happy that I completed all my marking and administrative work before the deadline. On the other hand, I am worry that my students are not well prepared for the coming examination.

All the best to all of you.

Do your very best in the examination.

Be confident!!
